Nationally recognized chef Jason Santos’ Buttermilk and Bourbon delivers Southern hospitality to guests in the heart of the Back Bay. Drawing on the South’s trademark charm, the restaurant offers a vibrant, cozy atmosphere with an innovative American menu featuring Southern-influences. Designed by Erica Diskin of Assembly Designs, the restaurant showcases brick walls covered in New Orleans-inspired murals, tin ceiling tiles, a large center bar suitable for optimal guest and bar staff interaction, and separated dining rooms that offer varied atmospheres for guests to enjoy that also work as private dining rooms. There is also full bar with lounge seating, an interactive oyster bar, and a 40-seat patio.

The After House Wine & Raw Bar

A true Nantucket seafood bistro, The After Hours Wine and Raw Bar’s focus is on chilled shellfish, raw fish preparations, caviars and tinned seafood. The menu offers items beyond seafood, and includes local vegetarian options and charcuterie selections and a curated wine list.

Chart Room at Crosby’s

May 2017, Osterville

The Chart Room at Crosby’s is an offshoot of the popular restaurant at Kingman Boat Yard in Cataumet (opened 1973). This location offers much the same fare as the larger location, which is known for its swordfish, lobster rolls and baked stuffed lobster. The new Chart Room has only 49 prized seats and will be open weekends only until mid-June then remain open fully until Columbus Day followed by weekends through December.

Ricciardelli’s features family recipes for favorite Italian dishes. The restaurant brings a bit of Boston’s North End to Hyannis.

Nantucket natives Sabrina Dawson and Gaven Norton have created a dining scene created for locals by locals with Keepers Restaurant. The cuisine is innovative and not defined by region or style. This fun restaurant features loads of shared plates, sides, and creative apps. The restaurant, which has 60 seats, offers a seasonal patio to savor outdoor dining with family and friends.

District 45

July 2017, Lynn

District 45 is a neighborhood spot. The restaurant’s executive chef, Corey O’Shea, is originally from Lynn and focuses on sourcing local ingredients— serving dishes such as squash carpaccio, pan-seared cod, crispy skin salmon, and blueberry-braised short ribs. Dessert includes a classic local product, Fluff: There’s a fried Fluffernutter sandwich, topped with a Nutella drizzle. Inside, the restaurant has a 36-foot mural on display from local artist Marcus Sebastiano. The image incorporates historical elements of Lynn, including the railroad, Fluff factory, and more.

BareWolf Brewing

Founded by father-and-son duo Paul and Stevie Bareford, BareWolf does 80% of its business via retail sales, but expects more of an even split between retail and in-house sales. Their lineup of beers includes a Belgian ale, brown ale, pale ale, and more, per the website.

Brewery Silvaticus is located in the Carriage Mills complex in downtown Amesbury— and features a taproom which serves full pints, plus crowlers to go, and has an outdoor beer garden on the Powwow River.

Samuel Adams Brewery has debuted a new 80-seat tap room at its Jamaica Plain headquarters. This new space encourages visitors to stop by the brewery before, after, or in place of a tour for some pints, shuffleboard, and sampling of their more experimental brews. In addition to drinking and games, the Sam Adams Tap Room will hosting weekly events like trivia and karaoke as well as food trucks and small food businesses from their Brewing the American Dream program.

6A Brewing Company is the latest addition to Cape’s Craft Beer community. The company aims to create a small hometown brand that will introduce a new pilot batch being brewed twice a month. The brewers produce beers that pair well with familiar comfort foods such as hamburgers, fish & chips and shepherd’s pie. The company is releasing its pilot brews at Father’s Kitchen & Taphouse in Sandwich.

Ten Pin Eatery has officially open its doors for dining, play, and all things fun! Ten Pin Eatery is a joint venture between two long-time Cape Cod businesses – Chapin’s Restaurant Group and Ryan’s. It features a 300-seat restaurant and bar area, more than twenty TVs and several large projection screens, 8 lanes of ‘Ten Pin’ bowling, 3 additional private bowling lanes, a Cape Cod-themed laser tag arena, an arcade area and a VIP lounge for special events.

Epic Oyster
