Agriculture Day reminds us of the incredible bounty of food products grown right in Massachusetts. With 7,700 farms across the state maintaining almost 523,000 acres of open space, we are ranked fifth in the United States for direct market agricultural sales.
Here is a quick guide for visitors seeking to connect with our home-grown agricultural products available throughout the year.

Start with the MassGrown Map, issued by the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources.  MassGrown lists every farmers market, agriculture fair, farm stand, farm, winery and other food-related venues in the state, with convenient ways to search for locations and specialties.
Our own agriculture page has a selection, organized by region, of interesting farms, agricultural fairs, and even B&Bs that serve organic, homegrown fare.
